Explore the Blues Trail, the Mississippi River, and local history

The spirit of the King lives on Beale Street, more precisely at Elvis Presley Plaza between South Main and South 2nd Street.

When you’re not listening to live music there’s plenty of other activities to keep you occupied through your journey, particularly as many music performances take place in historic location. Dozens of the 180+ Mississippi Blues Trail markers are located across the Delta as well as in Helena and Memphis, and you can learn about the history of the blues, the Civil War and regional history at the area’s many museums. And let’s not forget the beautiful surroundings – many visitors simply enjoy driving the back roads of the Delta, but you can also experience the natural world, including the Mississippi River, through tours and visits to state parks and nature refuges.
